Anxiety Tips From Historical Locations

Writer: bellatherapybellatherapy

Hi everyone,

The name is Corinne. I am a Therapist by trade. This is my new blog that ties into my Youtube Channel where I explore Historical Locations (YES I AM A MASSIVE HISTORY NUT) and also gives tips on anxiety/stress and depression. So, If you love history and want to find out about more places in the UK then you will feel right at home with me here or if you just want some tips on anxiety/depression or stress or even if you want both! Then awesome. Welcome to this blog :) Please subscribe to my Youtube channel Bella_Therapy Corinne R. I can also be found on Instagram @bella_therapy where I am pretty active so come and say hi. I am also on twitter @Bellatherapy1 and facebook @bella_therapy.

I have to say I have never written a blog before but have always wanted to so this, so this is quite exciting!

With me you can expect awesome locations, facts about different places - There is only so much I can say in my video's before it turns into three hours long.

You can also expect dresses ( I also have a wardrobe full of them- Love them) And you can expect tips and tools to take away to help manage stress/depression and anxiety.

This me filming at my very first location Deddington Castle. I was super nervous on this one.

I have been a therapist since October 2018. I started my own business as didn't want to go down the NHS route. Just mainly because now I have the freedom and don't have to limit my interactions with clients in terms of seeing them for 6 sessions and that's it.

My site came to be because of my YouTube channel. I found I couldn't say everything I wanted to say otherwise the video would be so long would bore you all to death ! (Hahaha)

Also, another major factor here is the wind - I don't know why but in not on every video but most video's, the wind seems to make an appearance. One video had me literally rooted to one spot in the corner. My legs hurt after half an hour of kneeling. The things we do eh?

But, that's what made me go... well people aren't really seeing all the magic of the places I am going too, especially if I am up against a stone wall or on the floor. So what can I do?

And ta-da blog was born.

So onto the juicy stuff - About me

So okay, you know I like dresses. I am a history nut and I am a counselor that's been knocking around since 2018.

This is my space where I do counselling and have my own mugs! (Fancy I know).

The reason why I became a therapist.

Is because when I was younger I had a traumatic experience, I lost my mum to epilepsy, my gran and my gran-dad within three months of each other. I tried to bury my grief rather than deal with it which meant my own mental health declined.

I went to see a therapist - only because I was forced too. She changed my life. I knew from that moment I wanted to help others like she had helped me, as corny as that sounds.

So what's my favorite period in history?

Well, that hands down has to be the Plantagenet era in England and the 100 year war. It fascinates me. It always has. I also have to say my second favorite period in time has to be the Tudor period. I also love Egyptian history and Greek history but don't know as much about them.

My Favorite King?

Definitely has to be Richard the 3rd - I don't believe he was evil at all and that's really something that makes me shake my head at Shakespeare, although I know it makes a good story-line.

My Favorite Queen?

Okay this is a hard question...Not sure how to answer that. There are some incredible queens throughout UK's history. There is Elizabeth the 1st who dominated a male world. Anne of Bohemia- not much is said about her but she was Richard the 2nds wife and was seen as caring and kind to the people. Margaret of Anjou who literally had to flee England with her son but came back with an army. Yes I have decided I can't answer this... maybe I will one day.

One fact that people do know

Does it have to be one?

Okay, well I am a self- published author. I love to read and write. I have Wattpad where you can find all my novels. And you can buy my book on Amazon.

"Earl Nevermore" That's what it's called. I wrote it when I was still at school but pretty proud of it.

I will also include another fact here - I used to do acting/modelling and went to drama school but I will never get an Oscar though because it was not really my forte. You can find me in some things though. hehehe not telling what... That's for you to find out another time... ;)

Anyway,

Hope you really enjoy or take something away from this blog.

I look forward to sharing all my adventures with you all.

Have a great weekend and don't forget to subscribe to my Twitter, Instagram, Facebook or Youtube Channel for more about me. What I do and tips.

Bye for now and thanks for reading.
